Justin Hernandez currently resides in the Bay Area with his family. He grew up surrounded by books of mythology and folklore and his grandparent’s library of 80’s fantasy movies on VHS. This was a huge inspiration for him as a young artist.
Justin graduated with a BFA in Illustration from the Academy of Art University in 2007. He has since gone on to work in the games industry as a production artist across multiple titles as well as various card games. He has had his work featured in Spectrum and the Society of Illustrators West.
When Justin isn’t drawing you can find him collecting art books, making spooky comics with his wife, creating digital art tools, and being used as a pillow by his 3lb chihuahua.
I live for concept art and world building and am looking for a position in a creative environment with room to learn and grow. Can work well within boundaries while pushing them to their limit. Motivated, working well within a group collaborative or solo.
